Hello, my name is Joseph (Joe) Finnegan. I am a high school graduate from Roland-Story High School from Story City, Iowa. My Bachelor of Music degree is from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Master of Music Education Degree from the VanderCook School of Music, Chicago, Illinois. I am the high school (10 - 12) band teacher, and 6 - 12 Music Department Head for DC Everest. in Schofield, Wisconsin. I am a percussion teacher for the Wausau Conservatory of Music. I also served as the WMEA Vice-President for Northcentral Wisconsin and have been the percussion coach for the Wisconsin Ambassadors of Music since 2014.



I live in Weston, Wisconsin and have since 2005. My wife, Tanice, and I have 5 children. Calvin, Zachary, Mikayla, Keely and Torina. I have been teaching since 1990 and LOVE watching people learn through music. My other hobbies include woodworking, kite flying and collecting, and of course, traveling and playing music. I am the drummer for a local big band called Swing City and enjoy being a worship leader and musician at my church.
