John Krull is a 6-12 choral music educator in his fifth year of teaching at Barron Area School District in the northwoods of Wisconsin. At Barron he directs a 6th grade choir, a 7/8 choir, and a 9-12 choir. His choirs consistently receive excellent ratings at choral festivals and features singers who continually receive high marks at Solo and Ensemble. This is John’s first time working as a member of the Wisconsin Ambassador’s of Music.

A 2016 high school graduate of Hampton-Dumont in Iowa, John went on to earn a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 2020 from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Throughout his education he performed in multiple theater productions and toured nationally and internationally with multiple choral ensembles. He currently sings Bass two with the choral group Ave Generosa. 

John is passionate about teaching his students the tools to create and perform any kind of music that moves them. Outside of music, he is also a track coach and soccer coach, nature enthusiast, and he’s always eager to learn more about the world.
